My story…
I took a broom making class in November 2023—and something in me shifted. What started as a curiosity quickly became a quiet obsession. The rhythm of binding broomcorn, the feel of wood in my hands, the way time slows down while I work—it’s become a form of meditation. Broom making grounds me. It reminds me to breathe. It gives me space to be fully present.
I work a part-time job and raise my children while chasing this dream—that people around the world will one day hold a piece of my heart in the form of a handmade broom. On Fridays, I show up at markets, often with my kids in tow. They help set up, snack on market treats, and watch as I share this little corner of magic I’ve carved out for us.
Every handle is foraged—picked on slow walks and roadside stops, chosen for its unique shape and story. I hand-dye all my broomcorn in small batches, letting the colors bloom with intention. No two brooms are the same. Each one carries a moment, a mood, a memory.
This isn’t just about sweeping—it’s about connection. With the earth. With ourselves. With the quiet, sacred work of our hands.
